Hello!

My name is Carrie.

I was a DIY-er before it really had a name. As a young mom with lobster tail dreams on a roman noodle budget, the saying "Seriously, I can make that!" became my mantra. As I have always been inspired by great books and fanciful stories, I find inspiration in all aspects of my life. I've been blessed with what my crafty nature has been able to do for my family and I find great joy in sharing my work. Most of all I love showing others that they too have a gift to share. My favorite saying is one that my family helped me create. It combines my whimsical sense of humor with a little word play:

My Story:

After struggling to get answers from the modern medical community for years for a condition called "Idiopathic Intracranial Hypertension," this Mom of three wants to share her story and renewed joy with you! Over the past 23 years, my husband and I's marriage has become a goofy partnership. I've always had a creative side, all thanks to his support although he may not fully understand all my unique ideas :)

All of this crafty craziness started when I wanted to give my two year old son a unique birthday party, but I couldn't find any out-of-the-ordinary decorations. Deciding that I could make them myself led me on a journey of wonderful discoveries, amazing memories, and a set of skills that I'm now able to share with you!

My creativity blossomed into a party and cake decorating business in 2013, until my health battles forced me to break away from the things I adored.

Now, fully diagnosed and feeling better than I have in years, along with encouragement from amazing people who taught me new skills, I present to you Little Carrious Creations! It's an online craft boutique featuring whimsical and seasonal decor items. I hope my designs will bring a little joy to those of you who got out of bed today... and for those who didn't!
